Security is a great thing. It has binary states, secure or not secure, and everybody changes state every second. In this article by theregister.co.uk we see how companies, at InfoSec, that sell security solutions had open Wireless LAN networks, a virus going around and the company SecureTest applying a key logger to the one of the communal PC services used by many to check their web-based emails, as a demonstration.

    I thought this quote was isntreeting: This double degradation of the user experience means that people are more likely to give up and never log in to your site at all, leading to lost business I don’t know anyone who has decided not to use a website because of masked passwords, so I would like to see the research that shows this is the case.
